Privacy Policy

When you create an account or use Sport Card, we collect:

• Your name, phone number, email address, and city, provided when you sign up.
• A profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
• Optional profile details you choose to add, such as your age, preferred sport, and any injury or health note (so venues and clubs can look after you).
• Details of venues and activities you book, club memberships you join, and events you attend.
• Payment-related details you enter during a booking (such as the name used for a UPI payment, or your chosen payment method) — we do not store your UPI PIN, card numbers, or bank credentials; actual payments happen in your own UPI app.
• Messages exchanged between you and venues or clubs through the app's inbox feature.
• Reviews, ratings, and feedback you choose to submit.
• Play Points balances and history, where venues or clubs award you loyalty points.
• Basic technical information such as device type and browser, used to make the app work correctly.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account, and let you book venues, join clubs, and register for events and tournaments.
• Share your name and phone number with the specific venue or club you book with or join, so they can confirm your booking and contact you about it.
• Send booking confirmations and updates, including over WhatsApp where a venue or club uses that channel.
• Operate features you choose to use, such as Play Points, reviews, messaging, and tournament participation.
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the platform, and prevent misuse.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share your booking details (such as your name and phone number) with the venue or club you interact with, so they can serve you. Club owners and venue owners who award Play Points, confirm payments, or run tournaments can see relevant details of players who engage with their venue or club. We do not share your information with unrelated third parties for advertising purposes.

Sport Card facilitates bookings and registrations; payments themselves are completed directly between you and the venue or club, typically via UPI apps on your own device, or in cash at the venue. Sport Card does not process or store your payment card details, UPI PIN, or banking credentials.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time — either yourself from Profile → Delete account, or by following the steps at sportcard.in/delete-account. When you do, we erase your name, phone number, email, photo, age, health notes, preferences, messages, reviews and points, cancel your upcoming bookings, and close your login.

Past booking and attendance records are kept so venues and clubs have accurate records, but they no longer include your name, phone number or email.

• You can view and update your name, phone number, and other profile details anytime from your Profile page.
• You can delete your account yourself from Profile → Delete account, or request deletion at sportcard.in/delete-account. To get a copy of your data, email us.
• If you no longer want a venue or club to message you, you can ignore or report the message from your inbox.

Sport Card is intended for users who can independently create an account and make bookings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

We may update this policy as Sport Card adds new features. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated within the app.
